The Ajile L. Turner Fund was created to offer scholarships to minority applicants entering or fully enrolled in an undergraduate college or university, while planning on entering a music or entertainment management program, “The Ajile L. Turner Scholarship Fund”.



The Ajile L. Turner Scholarship Fund is administered through the Common Ground Foundation, a non-profit 501(c3) organization created by Hip Hop artist, Actor, and Children’s author Lonnie Rashid Lynn, known as “Common”, whose mission is to empower Urban youth to find their own voice in this world, while also providing needed resources that will enable them to develop personally and professionally.



The two foundations have formed a working relationship with iSee Promotions, promoters of the Fort Greene Fest 2010.



Part of the proceeds from the Fort GreeneFEST 2010 sponsorships fees will be donated to the “Ajile L. Turner Scholarship Fund” and the “Common Ground Foundation”.
